Spring Alpine and Rock Garden Plant Catalog Update
“A little more kindness, A little less speed, A little more giving, A little less greed, A little more smile, A little less frown, A little less kicking, A man while he's down, A little more "We", A little less "I", A little more laugh, A little less cry, A little more flowers, On the pathway of life, And fewer on graves, At the end of the strife.” Mark Twain
While I wish I could do something to make the world observe all of the above, I have more and more become resigned to the old adage of the serenity prayer. I can change one of the things in your life though. I can put more flowers on your pathway. And in your rock and crevice gardens, your troughs and patio pots and in your perennial borders. If you only have a balcony, I can fill it with so many flowers you can have a botanical garden in 50 square feet urban space.
You may have noticed the shop button is missing from the website, I’m working to update the online catalog and will be shipping out orders as soon as it is live. This serves as fair warning, the catalog will be up in the next day or two so keep checking. I have some great one or two off plants that will no doubt be gone instantly. For the gluttons of punishment, Dionysia and Petunia patagonica are in short supply and high demand. For an easier path, this years spring catalog will feature something for everyone, with selections ranging from Acantholimon to Verbascum. I have a nice selection of dwarf Dianthus, Raoulia, Arenaria, Whalenbergia, Ozothamnus, Gypsophila, Calceolaria. Asperula, Genista, Petrocoptis, Dymondia, Silene, Aquilegia, Salix, Ptilotrichum, Antennaria, just to name a few of the many choice offerings.
Illahe’s little rock garden is cranking out some great plants, shipped right to your door!
This is just a quick update to let you know that I’m on schedule to have the catalog up live in the next day or two. Order early as some things are available in only small quantities.
I’m sorry to say to our good friends and neighbors in Canada, I had planned to start shipping live plants to Canada this year, but due to the moron in charges stupid trade war (which is also a proxy war to destroy American Small Business’ like mine) I won’t be doing that this year due to the tariffs and chaos that this administration, actually administration isn’t a fair word, that these imbeciles, have created. I do still plan to ship dormant bulbs up that way this summer, and on behalf of all the good Americans we deeply apologize for the state of our country and its far reaching impact on the world at large.
1.5” of rain the last two days make for good times to sit in front of a computer and update inventories on the website. I will send another link email when the catalog is live probably tomorrow but maybe Thursday at the latest.
Dianthus arapadianus var pumilus coming soon to your garden.
