The famous naked ladies no garden should be without, these originally came from my grandmas garden in Sebastopol, California where they grew in the dry shade of a Coastal Redwood. We used to play hide and seek in the garden as kids and under that Redwood and it was always kinda scary with the huge spider webs deep in the recesses of the spiky branchlets. After my grandma passed away, I dug up some of the huge patch of Amaryllis bulbs and they now grace the garden at illahe with tall spikes of flesh pink flowers late in the summer and into fall. large bulbs
