A choice dwarf broom, originally from a Halda seed collection, propagated and grown by Jane McGary for decades in her Estacada garden. This is a tough, very compact creeper that will hug rocks, adding a huge show of deep yellow flowers in the mid spring season. Great for cascading over a wall or among the rocks.
If you are a pea family taxonomist and can tackle the id of this one it would be much appreciated. Knowing Halda it hails from a far flung mountain top in some war ravaged Central Asian steppe land. But who can say for certain?
