A compact, low-growing form of Bloody Cranesbill, native to Europe and western Asia. This hardy perennial forms a neat, spreading mat of finely divided foliage topped with vivid magenta-pink flowers in late spring to summer. Ideal for rock gardens, alpine troughs, or the front of borders. I have grown this in the alpine frame for several years and it didn’t outgrow a 10” pot, so you know it’s a nice compact form.
Later blooming season makes this a standout, for the rock garden.
Hardy to USDA zones 4–8 (down to -30°C / -22°F)
