A rare, low-growing evergreen shrub native to coastal cliffs of the South Island, New Zealand. It forms a compact mound with, glossy green leaves and clusters of small white to pale lilac flowers in summer. Great for adding evergreen structure to the rock garden or crevice garden. Nice compact habit, 18” across and 1’ tall.

Cultivation:
Prefers full sun and well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil. Ideal for coastal gardens, rockeries, or containers. Protect from hard frosts and cold winds; mulch in winter in cooler areas. Hardy to USDA zone 6, though may need winter protection in colder zones.
