This looks to have been revised to Hyacinthoides mauritanica ssp. vincentina per the PBS but I’m going with the name from another reputable online bulb vendor over the pond because my clone exactly matches the one they list as:Raised from VH (Vic Horton) 702, first collected in Portugal, “Cabo Sao Vicente, roadside near sea, sandy soil, in sun, common, 7th April 1972” Late, flowering blue-purple flowers, small and refined foliage, this is an awesome rock garden bulb. Tidy enough to be good in the crevice garden if you like bulbs. I have often thought if I had to make a run for it someday and could only take one bulb with which to rebuild my non-existent fortune with it would be this one. It’s my favorite everytime it blooms.
