The far eastern swamp lantern: From thick rhizomes come large fragrant white spathes with green spadix’ followed by large banana like leaves. This is a semi-aquatic marginal , bog plant, definitely not a drylander! If you have the right boggy, moist spot or creek bottom, great plant to naturalize in a moist spot. Or try them in a large lined wine barrel planter with peat moss and rich soil and standing water.
These are going dormant and will be shipped bareroot packed on peat, you can expect the foliage to be senescing and emergence will be next spring.
