One of our native Saxifrage from the volcanic Cascade Ranges, it grows often in company with the beautiful Penstemon rupicola and is often found growing vertically on shady sides of cliff faces and overhangs. Easy in a well drained soil, the small white flowers are diminutive but the plant as a whole is a welcome addition to the crevice garden, where it will never outgrow it’s space. From the Western Cascades of Oregon, 5,400’ on basalt cliff faces
