Syn. Sternbergia fischeriana, The Yellow Amaryllis as it is commonly called is rare in the horticultural trade. The large yellow flowers in the Autumn are a special treat. Give it a warm, dry summer rest is key to flowering. These will increase over time, but not fast. A collectors treat for sure, first time I have been able to offer this one. Photos by Jane McGary
