Ceanothus pumilus

Our own collection of the wonderful, dwarf California lilac. This is the smallest one out there, so if you are looking for an amazing creeping woody for your rock, crevice garden or even a large trough, this is the one you are after.

Often growing on Serpentine in it's native habitat, it can also be found along forest margins and scrambling down road cuts. A true ground hugging dwarf, it gets light blue flowers in the early spring season.

Ceanothus have a reputation of outgrowing their space but this one definitely won't. Tight and compact. Southern Oregon.
